Welcome to this homepage, which contains historical information about Europe, in H. C. Andersen’s lifetime (1805-75). The background for the establishment of this homepage was a project which, we, 1.z on Nørre gymnasium, had from the 8/10-2004 to 10/11-2004. The project`s overall subject, was H. C. Andersen, and his contemporaries. Drawing lots we got the under assignment; Europe’s political map and the social changes under his time. In addition we also had an extra mission, were we shortly should describe H. C. Andersen’s meeting with Dickens. Our fond project should then be this homepage, with the prepared material, about the above subject.
